- Project Guidelines-
Pick a theme below. and design a store front based off that theme. gather reference, create prop pages that will help you design your theme. After the prop pages are finished, create a page of rough store fronts, show them to me for approval, we will pick the best design and draw it larger on a piece of 11x17 paper. Please see samples below.

WEEK 15:: Final Project assignment- Reference gathering, Props Sketching, Prop Grouping (2 pages)
WEEK 16: Final Project- Start Building Fronts Roughs (1 page of rough sketches)
WEEK 17: Final Project- Rough (1 page)

Part 1- Week 15 (2 pages)
Your prop sketches display your thinking process and give options to your client. Pick one of the locations below a draw a series of props, and rough store front ideas (as thumbnails) that could be used for this store front. Fill a page with different ideas for props...(at least 8 props per page), and you can sketch some store front ideas as well. Then place some props together in a groups.
Part 2- Week 16 (1 pages) Then you will start working on some roughs building thumbnails ideas for the store front creation, numerous variations on a page. 1 page can be rough thumbnails, and the second a finished rough sketch.
Part 3- Week 17- (1 page) * Rough drawing final store front. (1 page).
Pick your favorite storefront design and develop it into a rough Store front creation. After your rough is done, make a final line drawing . (Not required for this semester....but if you have time- Pick either left or right for the sun direction, and render the image on tracing paper. Before starting the render please xerox your line drawing so you have a backup of it.)
( I can blow up your rough drawing on the Xerox machine, you can tape it down, and draw over it with tracing paper onto some 11x 17 paper.)
