Supplies to get for Week 5 & 6

Tone Paper- ( Kraft paper, Canson, Strathmore, large or small as long as you can tape it onto 11x17 class pages)

Black & White Prisma Color Pencil

White Gel Pen

Black Pen  (normal roller Pen or Black Ink)

Color Erase Pencil- you can still use this and draw on top of it with a black pen, white Prisma & gel pen
Markers- 20, 40, 60 grade warm or cool
Tombo are water based, Prisma or Copic are good but are alcohol based and bleed

WEEK 5: Props using a grid and Props with Tone Paper/renderin ( 3 pages, 1st page can be white paper, then 2 pages tone paper) -Obtain Black Prisma Color Pencil, White Prisma, & some Tone paper)

WEEK 6: Props From Imagination with Tone Paper (Mech’s, vehicles, tanks) (2 pages)

WEEK 7: Drawing People Basics Proportion (3 pages)

WEEK 8: Artist in Residence Review- Stephen Silver- : Drawing People Stylized (0 pages)

WEEK 9: Drawing People Stylized (3 pages)

WEEK 10: Drawing People in Movement (3 pages)

WEEK 11: Organic Plants (3 pages)

WEEK 12: Spring Break-no class Organic Plants (2 pages)

WEEK 13: Organic Plant Groupings with Tone & Highlights (2 pages)

WEEK 14: Final Project- Thumbnails & Props (3 pages)

WEEK 15: Final Project- Roughs (2 pages)

WEEK 16: Final Project- Light & Render Study (1 page)

WEEK 17: Finals Week- Portfolio Presentation Final (1 page)

*Upon assignment deadline & course finish, students will be asked to provide a Hi-resolution jpg image/pdf of the completed assignments for instructor record in a labeled digital folder.
